Agreement to these terms
These terms apply whenever you use the Halqa-e-Quran website or book classes through us. By creating an account, booking a trial, or enrolling in a paid plan, you agree to them. If you're creating or managing an account on behalf of a child, "you" means you as the parent or guardian responsible for that account.
Our service
Halqa-e-Quran provides live, 1:1 online classes in Quran memorization, recitation, Tajweed, and Arabic, taught by our teachers over a live video platform. Programs and pricing are described on our programs and pricing pages.
Accounts and eligibility
You need an account to book and manage classes. Where a student is a minor, a parent or guardian must create and manage the account — students do not sign up directly. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account, and for keeping your account information accurate and up to date.
Free trial
New students start with a free live trial class. No payment is taken for the trial, and nothing is billed until you actively choose to continue with a paid plan.
Billing and payments
Paid plans are billed through Paddle, our payment processor. Paddle acts as merchant of record for these purchases, collects your payment details directly (we never see your full card number), and handles receipts and any tax due on the transaction. Pricing is shown to you at checkout before you pay.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel at any time — there's no long-term commitment. If you're not happy with the service, you get your money back. To cancel or request a refund, contact us or use the option in your dashboard, where available.
Rescheduling classes
You can reschedule a class from your student dashboard, subject to the minimum notice period shown there before your class starts.
Acceptable use
Live classes are a shared learning space. We ask everyone — students, parents, and teachers — to behave respectfully, avoid disruptive or abusive conduct, and use the platform only for its intended purpose. We may suspend or end access for accounts that don't meet this standard.
Safeguarding
We take the safety of our students, especially our younger ones, seriously, and expect every teacher and staff member to interact with students professionally and appropriately at all times. If you ever have a safeguarding concern, please contact us straight away at info@halqaequran.com so we can look into it. See also the children's privacy section of our privacy policy.
Content and intellectual property
Course materials, curricula, and any recordings we provide are owned by Halqa-e-Quran or our teachers and are for your personal learning use only. Please don't record, copy, or redistribute class content without our permission.
Termination
You may stop using our service and cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these terms or puts other students, teachers, or the platform at risk.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We work hard to provide high-quality teaching, but we don't guarantee specific learning outcomes or timelines, since progress depends on many factors outside our control. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without taking away any consumer protections you're entitled to under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date below and, where appropriate, let you know directly.
